This Opportunity WSP has immediate openings for On Call Field Archaeologist Technician or multiple surveys planned in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas. This is an on-call, as needed, temporary hourly position. Hourly rates are industry competitive, depending on North American CRM experience and regional archaeological experience. Candidates local to Texas, Oklahoma, or Louisiana are ideal due to work location and schedule, but all qualified applicants will be considered. WSP also has ongoing Phase I, II, and III work in other states with additional upcoming work. Your Impact: - Assist with multiple Phase I Intensive Cultural Resources Surveys, with specific tasks including: - Pedestrian survey ; - excavation and recording shovel tests; - recovery and identification of archaeological artifacts and other materials; - use archaeological field forms to record archaeological data, including type and number of artifacts, soil color (Munsell) and soil textures, and other relevant information; - Work effectively as part of a team; - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policie...
