Role Overview Working together, supporting your team, and reaching high-end for the best in a high-volume, high-paced environment is second nature to you. Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef at The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. The Executive Chef will be responsible for all Food and Beverage in all Retail and Catering locations, must be creative, innovative, and have a strong understanding of operational finances. The employee base is unionized, there is a lot of client/student interaction, and the candidate must be visible during meal periods and work closely with all culinary and management staff. What You'll Do: - Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting; - Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented; - Have a working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems; - Implement those systems and ensure ongoing compliance across campus.
