JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Old Colony Y Senior Executive Director, the MAP Nurse Monitor is responsible for ensuring that all residents in the program receive quality medical intervention as ordered by assigned providers. The MAP Nurse Monitor is responsible to carry out all MAP policies in a manner consistent with Old Colony Y and all State Regulatory agencies. JOB FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: MAP STAFF TRAINING, MONITORING, & ASSESSING Provide quality assurance by monitoring our MAP site’s medication administration system to ensure compliance with DPH, DMH, and DCF regulations, licensing requirements and Map policies. Assess and observe, no less than once every 12 months, all certified program MAP staff to verify that they are following correct MAP policies, procedures and protocols in preparing and administering medication in a manner consistent with all MAP policies, procedures and protocols. The observation shall be documented on an agency form (that includes staff name, certification number, date of observation, and nurse monitor signature) and kept on file at the program site.
