Position Overview Title: Millwright I Reports to: IXL Supervisor FLSA status: Non-Exempt Overview: Assist with the fabrication, construction, and rebuild of machinery and equipment Accountabilities: - Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work process. - Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools. - Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on production equipment. - Interact with engineering, operations support and product development to troubleshoot and ensure machinery and equipment are working properly. - Document procedures on new jobs or rebuilds for filing in permanent record. - Ability to meet physical demands and perform the essential job functions within the work environment identified in this job description. - Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
