Job Overview: The Manager HSES requires a comprehensive understanding of HSES concepts, theories, principles, and other related disciplines. The Manager of HSES must be able to apply an understanding of the industry to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the HSES discipline as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems that impact effectiveness. The Manager HSES impacts the level of service and the HSES team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan should guide decisions made by the Manager HSES. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Maintain a complete understanding of all current HSES policies and procedures - Interpret regulatory requirements and monitor compliance - Ensure that the correct level of manning for HSES activities is maintained - Ensure that HSES training needs are identified and training is effectively conducted - Ensure that any required local and project HSES procedures are produced and implemented - Ensure that all HSES functional personnel are performing as required - Ensure that the performance of all subco...
