INTRODUCTION: We offer a competitive salary based on experience! - This position is located at Raleigh Radiology, a freestanding outpatient imaging center located in Wake County, NC, and the surrounding areas. - The primary function of the Technologist - Sonographer at Raleigh Radiology is to provide outpatient ultrasound exams. In addition, you must be registered as a Sonographer and provide diagnostic outpatient procedures. - The technologist must be registered in any subspecialty of Sonography with ARDMS or ARRT. General Diagnostic Duties: - Maintains standards of professional care and maintains patient confidentiality. - Implements policies and procedures of Raleigh Radiology. - Performs procedures ordered in a safe, efficient, and professional manner to include all required views. - Assesses patient’s condition (physical and psychosocial); prioritizes needs, sets goals, and responds appropriately to meet those needs, which includes discharge teaching. - Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions to care rendered. - Assists with specific tests and procedures as needed. - Participates in the economic utilization of supplies. - Ensures th...
