Piping/Structural/ Welding Inspector

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Piping/Structural Inspector to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards during fabrication, construction, and installation activities. The inspector will be responsible for monitoring piping and structural works, conducting inspections, identifying non-conformities, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented to maintain quality and safety requirements. Perform inspections of piping and structural fabrication, erection, welding, and installation activities in accordance with applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, AISC) and project specifications. · Review and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, and construction specifications. · Verify materials, welding consumables, and equipment meet approved standards and certifications. · Conduct dimensional, fit-up, alignment, and weld visual inspections for piping and structural assemblies. · Monitor NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) activities and review NDT reports. · Witness hydrostatic, pneumatic, and leak testing of piping systems. · Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC procedures and generate detailed inspection reports. · Identify non-confor...
