This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a Lead Mechanical Engineer for our Hamilton, NJ office location to work with our Northeast Property & Buildings Region . The Lead Mechanical Engineer plans and conducts work requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Successfully completes small to medium engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Works closely with the Project Managers (PM) or Senior Engineers for technical review and guidance.. Your Impact: Develop and incorporate advanced technologies, monitoring devices, building materials, modeling techniques, design requirements, load calculations, and operating strategies to account for the proper installation and functioning of equipment and systems; implementing future-ready solutions with mechanical engineering design standards. Coordinate, review and approve installation design plans, ensuring data integrity and work is compliant with all applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations.
