Overview Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineering Utility Technician is responsible for safely operating, monitoring, adjusting and maintaining a variety of utility systems, including high pressure steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, well water, potable water, hot water, fire suppression, pneumatic, and HVAC equipment. This role requires hands-on experience with a diverse range of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the ability to perform routine and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and system inspections. The operator must be proactive, self-directed, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Key responsibilities: - Follow all company safety policies and procedures. - Ensure all assigned daily PM’s are completed. - Assemble or disassemble complex mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment, components, and systems. - Monitor, inspect, and test the functionality and quality of mechanical, electrical, and utility equipment, components, and systems. - Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods. - Analyze test results related to design or rated specifications and mak...
