Position: Maintenance Mechanic I: Location: Trinity hospital; Chicago, IL. Registry/PRN - scheduled on-call, as needed, to help fill in for departmental gaps. 2pm-10pm; Saturdays and Sundays Major Responsibilities: - Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Documents through use of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). - Basic level of skill to maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, heat exchangers, controls, etc. within defined operating procedures and with guidance/assistance. - Basic level of skill to maintain, troubleshoot and repair patient care equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables, etc. where not maintained by other departments - Basic level of skill to maintains, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems such as pneumatic tube, HVAC, ref...
