Job description

The Nursing Educator is available to provide care/assistance to the staff, physicians and patients within all aspects of the medical surgical setting. Job Duties: · Collaborates with patient care services, interdisciplinary teams, and key stakeholders across all levels of the organization.· Partners with nursing staff and other clinical disciplines in the development, implementation, and evaluation of education programs and professional development initiatives.· Works with Human Resources to ensure nursing staff meet orientation, annual in‑service, competency, and certification requirements.· Maintains an updated inventory of equipment and resources used for training and educational activities.· Coordinates with nursing and patient care departments to provide seamless training that supports uninterrupted, high‑quality care delivery.· Fosters a professional, supportive learning environment that promotes growth and excellence in practice.· Shares expertise with colleagues and serves as a role model and mentor for nursing staff.· Provides orientation and updates to instructors from affiliating academic institutions.· Promotes an environment of mutual respect, collaboration, and effect...
