Job Description Position Title: Accountant: Position Reports To: Director, FP&A: Position Summary: The A ccountant is responsible for various accounting tasks as part of the Corporate General Ledger Accounting Team. This role will have the primary responsibility for maintaining an efficient , accurate and timely fixed asset subledger. Other key tasks include balance sheet account reconciliations, various cost allocation s and other journal entries as part of the monthly financial close . Essential Functions: Responsible for maintaining Fixed Asset Ledger in the company ERP. This includes the preparation of the monthly PP&E Rollforward , Construction in Progress, and reconciliation to the General Ledger. Month-end closing duties and account reconciliations including preparation of various cost allocations , accruals, and adjustments . Other recurring analysis and preparation of journal entries including prepaid account analysis and amortization, asset depreciation, and reconciliations . Monthly b alance sheet account reconciliations as part of the GL team and month-end close. Research, analyze, and resolve questions from department managers relating to accounting transactions .
