Hyosung HICO, Ltd. has an opening for a full-time Sr. Test Lab Engineer – 2nd Shift (M-F 4p-12:30a) in Memphis, TN 38109. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its foreign educational equivalent in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related engineering field. Plus 5 years relevant professional experience in transformer testing in heavy industries or utilities are required with experience in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Department procedures, performing electrical power tests such as the following: ratio tests, polarity and phase relation, resistance, insulation resistance, insulation power-factor, losses excitation, impedance voltage, temperature rise, lightning impulse, switching impulse, applied voltage, induced voltage, discharge, noise, equipment loss, and tap changer testing, in using inspection tools, instruments and equipment and performing test equipment and tool inspections and calibration as required.
