Produce Clerk Department: Produce: Supervisor: Produce Manager: Hours: Full Time/ Part Time: Position Summary: Responsible for assisting in the overall operations of the produce department under the direction and guidance of the Produce Manager. Ensure that the department and the guests are afforded fresh product in a clean, friendly atmosphere. Experience: Minimum Age: 18 Years or older Equipment use: Knives, food processor, wrapper, computer, label printer, pallet jacks, produce carts Physical Abilities: Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, twist, and bend; repetitive use of hands and arms to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance; occasionally stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Use of step stool and ladder. Lifting 60+ pounds and may include floor to shoulder and overhead. Communication: Ability to write, speak, hear and/or understand the spoken word in order to respond promptly to team members and guests’ needs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals. Education: Food Handler’s Permit required.
