Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $16.63 - Midpoint: $19.95 (Hourly N3) Department/Organization: 504103 - Grounds: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm Job Summary: The Irrigation Worker assists Irrigation Technicians in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of underground sprinkler/irrigation systems. Drives from site-to-site. Additional Department Summary: Shifts may exceed 8 hours per day depending on the condition of the grounds and campus event schedules. Performs work at various locations, including events such as football games. Requires overtime, sometimes on short notice. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of underground electric and hydraulic irrigation system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with university policies.
