Position Purpose: Performs ultrasonography procedures including vascular and general sonography for patients as ordered by the physician and provides diagnostic exams and communications for radiologist’s interpretation. Adheres to MercyOne performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. What you will Do: Prepares patient, room and equipment for procedure. Collects history data from patient and provides patient education. Provides patient cares in accordance with department policy. Performs ultrasound procedure. Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation. Performs sonograms and documents and communicates findings to radiologist.
