Job Description Summary Under limited supervision, this position provides assistance for Bailey Hall, and other Broward College venues as assigned including Buehler Planetarium (Central Campus), and the Performing and Cultural Arts Theatre (South Campus) events in conjunction with the Senior director, Bailey Hall and Buehler Planetarium and Staff. Assists with activities and workflow of all ushers during Bailey Hall performances. Collaborates with Box Office, security, maintenance, production crew, and other campus departments as needed to provide required security, safety, and comfort. Assists with behind-the-scenes tasks. This is a temporary part-time position that works as needed. Expected to work a schedule that typically includes evenings, weekend afternoons/evenings, and occasionally some morning shifts. Due to the nature of performing arts events, scheduling flexibility is required. This position allows eligible veterans and their spouses to claim Veterans’ Preference pursuant to Florida Statute 295.
