Machine Operator 1st and 2nd shift available (4-day work week/weekends off) 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:30 am - 5:00 pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 5:00 pm - 3:30 am ($1.75/hour Shift differential) Starting wage: $18.50: Overall Goal of Position: Produce product by keeping packaging machines working efficiently/effectively. Job Summary: Primary responsibilities of a Machine Operator include properly operate production equipment to ensure continuous product flow, supporting quality assurance activities, and timely completion of all required production documentation. What will you do?: - Operate vertical form or horizontal fill equipment with Programmable Logic Control (PLC) electronics. - Take action necessary to insure continuous product flow. - Assist with troubleshooting system problems. - Complete required QA and production reports. Communicate clearly with others in processing and support positions. - Safely operate pallet jack to move materials. - Perform area-wide and system cleaning (5s) to meet Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) expectations. - Adhere to all safety, operating, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and GMP procedures/policies.
