Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: - Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, change overs, etc.) - Control and adjust machine settings - Inspect with precision and measuring tools - Test operation of machine periodically - Correct issues that might occur during the shift - Maintain activity log - Ensure machine is working at full capacity and producing quality product - May be placed into job rotation - Complete standard work and quality checks - Visual check on quality - Complete process control sheet - Complete 5s Checklist - Keep work area clean and organized - Work individually or with team members as assigned - Always observe safety policies and procedures, including use of required PPE - Work individually or with team members as assigned - Maintain a clean, organized and positive work environment - Work mandatory overtime as needed - Other duties as assigned by supervisor
