St. Mary's Annapolis is seeking candidates for a Landscape Worker . Under the guidance of the Facilities Director and Facilities Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining the appearance of outdoor areas by keeping lawns manicured, hedges trimmed, and pathways free of debris. In addition, the landscape worker will ensure that all outdoor areas maintain a professional appearance. This position will primarily maintain the grounds at St. John Neumann Church and the Team House. This is a seasonal position, working part-time, 20-30 hours weekly Monday - Friday with no benefits. Essential Functions: - Landscape Maintenance: Perform comprehensive landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, weeding, and improving landscaped beds. - Plant Care: Plant new vegetation, prune shrubs, trim small trees, and monitor plant health. Take proactive measures to remove diseased or damaged foliage. - Mulch Bed Remediation: Many trees on campus have been improperly over-mulched over the years.
