Job description

FlexStaff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with OB/GYN Women's Health experience for our client, a hospital in Brooklyn. Salary: $35.85-38.99/hr commensurate with experience: Full-time 5 days/week: Responsibilities: - Assisting the physician in treatments and procedures - Monitoring of patient's vital signs, patient intake and output, and recording patient history - Reports data relating to patient's health status to appropriate clinical staff - Identifies patient goals, communicates, and collaborates with clinical team to support patient care plan - Administration of medication, injections and functions in the scope of the license - Cleaning of equipment in patient care areas - Maintain patient care rooms to ensure they are kept clean, and supplies are well stocked. - Maintain records of patient activities and observations - Submit records to the appropriate clinical staff regarding patient's condition - Assist with scheduling patients, authorizations and referrals to support office staff as needed - Cross-cover multiple practices - Rooming patients - Overseeing patient flow Qualifications: - Excellent communication and customer service skills - High level of organization - E...
