Solar Operator III SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Solar Operator III that will be responsible for operating equipment as directed and specified while adhering to all rules and regulations as mandated by Mortenson safety policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Follows prescribed safety regulations - Ensure that all housekeeping is maintained in a clear and orderly fashion in assigned area - Performs routine maintenance to include lubricating, fueling and cleaning - Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction - Follows work plans and pre-task cards - Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed - Operates the following equipment based on the requirements of the project: - Grader - Dozer - Cable Plow - Excavator - Backhoe - Trackhoe - Loader - Forklift/Telehandler - Bobcat/Skid-steer QUALIFICATIONS: *Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. - Equipment certifications as required - Minimum of 5 years of related experience - Current driver’s license of proper classification and necessary endorsements...
