Minimum qualifications: - Associate's degree, trade school certification, other verifiable training in a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Ability to communicate in English fluently to understand and execute instruction and learn via training documentations and presentations. - Ability to work non-standard hours and differing rotations. - Live within 50 miles proximity of Lincoln, NE. Preferred qualifications: - Experience with using Google Workspace or similar applications. - Experience in building a career in data center operations. - Knowledge of working with HVAC, electrical or mechanical systems. - Ability to work effectively in a team. - Ability to complete tasks on time with a dedicated work ethic. About the job: As part of the Data Center team, Facilities Technicians operate, monitor and support physical facilities conditions that house our global computing infrastructure for Google products and services. Some of these duties will include heating and cooling of air, water, power supply, generators, UPS systems, electrical distribution and control and monitoring systems.
