Mostly midnights, but other shifts as needed. GENERAL SUMMARY: The Grosse Pointe Trauma/SICU/MICU team is a collaborative and supportive group of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Physicians dedicated to delivering high‑quality care to injured and critically ill patients. As a Level III Trauma Center, the team manages a broad range of traumatic injuries and acute critical illnesses, with a strong emphasis on timely evaluation, stabilization, and excellent patient outcomes. APPs on this service are trained to manage patients from door to discharge, providing comprehensive trauma and surgical critical care across the continuum. The service offers valuable educational and clinical training opportunities for APPs interested in bedside procedures, and rapid assessment and management of injured and critically ill patients.
