Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care 1 FTE: Thunder Bay Site One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services. We are currently seeking 1 FTE Nurse Practitioner (RN-EC), who as a valuable member of the Community Health Centre team will provide services within the RN-EC scope of practice at the Thunder Bay site. There is a strong practice emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health education, harm reduction, and community partnerships. The position has a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan and an excellent group health benefit package. Eligible for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) that provides $25,000 in grant funding to eligible nurses in exchange for a 2 year commitment.
