Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Nursing at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH CTS EKG Associate, Coronary Care Unit. The successful candidate will: - Conduct cardiac monitoring on the adult population. - Perform phlebotomy. - Perform direct nursing care activity as delegated. - Perform indirect nursing activities as determined by routine assignment as well as clinic activity. - Perform effective infection control measures. - Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development in the delivery of care to patients. - Respond to the changing needs of patient care areas. - Obtain, record, and exchange information on behalf of the patient. - Plan appropriately to meet cli...
