The Purchaser is regionally responsible for managing suppliers in North America for constructionactivities, while collaborating closely with our global colleagues to procure the most competitive solutions for Vestas and our customers. They will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality procurement strategies while ensuring cost efficiency, high quality, and on-time delivery Responsibilities: o Transport o Construction o Labor in procuring contingent labor to support preinstallation, installation, turbine repair, maintenance, and special projects. White collar, safety professionals, and other support personal related to wind services site activities. o Spare Parts- ability to identify sources of supply for electrical, mechanical, hardware, software, and other materials in direct support of the wind turbine where applicable o Indirect knowledgeable professional in procuring consulting services, fleet, equipment, cranes, blade trucks lifting devices, other equipment and facilities to support the business o Attend weekly sales management calls and translate potential contracts into procurement activities o Provide weekly report out of all contract's status...
