Job description

Starting Wage Range: $32.74/hr. - $42.16/hr. Job Summary: Create a successful environment that will promote the academic, social and individual development of middle and high school students and their families. Provide academic guidance and referral services to Tribal members and other AI/AN students at the local School Districts of Willamina and Sheridan. Guide students through in-depth career and college exploration, and individualized post-secondary planning. Ensures effective tutoring services are being conducted. This position’s primary design is to work directly with students, families, school staff and leadership alongside other Tribal departments to support the holistic academic success of Indigenous youth. Supervisory: - Establishes long term positive connection and relationship with assigned students and their parent(s)/guardian(s). - Develops and maintains detailed academic records for assigned students including up-to-date contact information, attendance records, grades, test scores, academic support plans, and IEPs and 504s as applicable. - Facilitates academic coaching requests for students and assigns students to appropriate staff. - Leads team member staffing meetin...
