Description NOW OFFERING: Under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager, the Dietary Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and the cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen and dining areas. - Next Day Pay - Competitive Hourly Rate - Holiday Pay - Flexible Schedule Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks in accordance with established portion control procedures. - Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, floors, dishes, and utensils. - Distribute menus and verify meal trays for accuracy, including menu selections and prescribed diet requirements. - Ensure proper storage and handling of food and supplies in compliance with safety standards. - Follow Universal Precautions and all sanitary, safety, and infection control policies and procedures. - Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding residents’ rights. - Ensure adequate food and supplies are available for upcoming meals; assist with inventory control and proper storage of incoming items. - Attend and actively participate in training sessions, educational activities, and staff meetings. - Perform other duties as assigned.
