Field Service Technician - 18155 Description: Field Service Technician provides internal and external service/repair support to Field Repair. What you will be responsible for: ● Must be able to travel to remote job sites at various locations INCONUS and OCONUS within 24 hours’ notice. ● Perform in-depth inspections of various types of equipment and submit detailed write-ups to the Repair Service Coordinator for quote process. ● Perform major and minor field repairs in austere environments as directed. ● Complete warranty work as directed. ● Be able to read and interpret blueprints. ● Fabricate sub-assemblies from aluminum and steel raw material. ● Install mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies. ● Functionally test sub-assemblies and end items to drawing requirements. ● Assist Shelter Tech. II, Shelter Tech II, and Shelter Tech I in their assigned tasks.
