Advanced Engineer - Product Support

Job description

Description of work to be performed: - Support the quality and sourcing functions with technical engineering support. - Provide technical leadership to new supplier development and component quality projects, leading validation tests (DVP&R) for key engine components. - Solve product issues by leading root cause analysis, defining both short-term and long-term corrective actions, and driving to resolution across multiple engineering and business functions. - Create and review engineering change requests for product improvements and cost reductions, driving related design and release activities to completion. - Participate in project technical design reviews for new product development projects, provide input regarding current product issues and supplier capabilities to the project team, and support new product launch and engineering change implementation. - Provide technical engineering support to other functional areas as required, including other engineering teams, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, service, contracted engineering consultants, and suppliers.
