Structural Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team who is specialized in steel construction to lead and coordinate the steelwork scope within our global industrial projects. Your Role in the Team: - You will be responsible for steel construction sub-project management in our worldwide projects, ensuring that deadlines, quality and costs are met. - During the proposal phase, you will design the initial steel structure concept and, together with Purchasing, Suppliers and Sales, make sure this high-value discipline meets the target costs. - You will develop solutions for complex support structures and for conveyor system layout, especially when integrating new components into existing installations and existing structural documentation. - You will ensure that external engineering partners and steelwork suppliers receive all relevant information, resolve design clashes, and support the construction phase. - You will support the Site Manager in case of issues during steel construction and will be responsible for the acceptance and handover of the steelwork scope.
