AVTECH Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer II in Savannah, GA. Shift: First (06:00 to 16:30); other shifts may be available Pay Rate: $55.00 per hour: Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: Purpose: Under minimal supervision, independently prepare, conduct, and evaluate analyses for planning improvements and problem solving for manufacturing issues (production methods and procedures) in a specific function (including layout, production flow, tooling and production equipment, material fabrication, assembly methods and planning) in a Production or Post-Production environment. - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. - Eighteen months Manufacturing Engineering, planning, or r...
