Description Messina College at Boston College is inviting applications for Part-Time Faculty positions in Biology and Chemistry on an open and rolling basis. Summer Teaching Opportunity in Life Science Chemistry Messina College is seeking an instructor for Life Science Chemistry. Life Science Chemistry introduces Health Science students to basic chemical principles in preparation for a discussion of the chemistry of living systems that forms the major part of the course. Topics in the areas of general, organic and biological chemistry are covered. In Summer 2026, an instructor for one lecture and two lab sections of Life Science Chemistry are needed. The summer term runs from July 13 through August 21. Classes will meet at the following times: Lecture: Monday through Thursday, 1:00 - 2:20 pm Labs: Friday 11:00am - 12:50pm and 1:00 - 2:50 pm About Messina College: Messina College is a new two-year residential college division of Boston College that offers an associate’s degree program for first-generation and low-income students.
