General Accounting & Tax Manager – Spain Finance

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled General Accounting & Tax Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of general accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance for our local operations in all the entities WTW has in Spain. This role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles in local and US GAAPs, tax regulations and financial management practices. The General Accounting & Tax Manager will also manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring effective team performance and development. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a tax strategy including ways to minimize tax liability and alleviate or reduce tax burden. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations. Qualifications: Proficient in English (mandatory) and Spanish.
