To maintain the building and grounds as directed. Essential Functions: - Attendance as scheduled is required. - Respond to guest calls and resolve guest issues to the guests' satisfaction - Perform maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as HVAC, plumbing, painting, wall covering, and carpentry - Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas. - Attention to details. - Practice safe work habits. - Be familiar with all the duties and responsibilities of the other engineers. - Maintain the files and logs kept in the Engineering department. - Correct or report any potentially unsafe situation to the Chief Engineer. - Always maintain a positive attitude towards guests and employees. - Be available to work 2nd shift (3PM to 11PM), weekends, and holidays. - Complete tasks associated with preventative maintenance programs.
