Electrical Foreman

Job description

Primary Purpose Electrical Foreman is a supervisor that directs apprentices, mechanics and journeymen. This role is responsible for successfully installing, testing, locating, and repairing electrical wiring, system and fixtures. Responsible for verifying correct installation. Works closely with superintendent, project managers and client to include participation in company and client meetings. Typical Duties: - Give and follow specific directions - Schedule daily job site functions to include required manpower. - Schedule job site inspections. - Responsible for selecting and purchasing appropriate material, tools and equipment for assigned job. - Inspect completed work for compliance and specifications. - Accurately maintain all required documentation relating to safety, project administration, purchase orders, change orders, as-built drawings, schedule and QA/QC. - Submit timesheets and safety documentation. - Mentor and assist lower-level electricians. - Plan layout and install materials and/or equipment required by job. - Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads. - Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components. - Obs...
