Maintenance Supervisor

Summary Description This position is responsible for all aspects of maintaining the production/handling equipment and facilities at the plant to ensure efficient operations. This is a hands-on supervisor that prioritizes the assignments of the maintenance department and works alongside maintenance and production personnel to accomplish tasks. Essential Duties: Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned. Supervisory Duties: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. - Performs all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment. - Develops and maintains preventative maintenance programs on all equipment to prevent unplanned down time. - Manages maintenance labor, contract maintenance labor, maintenance parts, and facilities’ budgets within specified levels. - Ensures accurate records and inventories are maintained on PEMAC system. - Evaluates performance of maintenance personnel and strives for improvement. - Provides training and certification support to all maintenance personnel to improve job and safety performance. - Provides foc...
