We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Carpenter/ Joiner in HMYOI Lincoln . The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, across 7 days as a weekend shift pattern is in place, covering 1 in 3 weekends. There is a need to work some weekends on a rota basis and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience. At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly. The Carpenter & Joiner plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner What you will do: - Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract. - Carry out joinery work to include repairing of doors, windows, signposts, formwork, and other bespoke timber items. - Responsible for joinery workshop - maintenance of machines, statutory inspections, housekeeping, and cleanliness. - Organise a...
