Requires Medical Interpreter Certification and requires knowledge of diverse medical terminology in English and target language. Details: This position is full-time, 8:00am until 4:30pm with every other weekend rotation Location: Primarily supporting Riley, but will support Methodist Hospital and University Hospital as needed Position Summary: Provides support to LOE (Language Other than English) patients, families, and medical staff providing care. Assists designated patients and provides support to the care team under the direction of the clinical nurse. Serves as the liaison between clinical, medical staff and patients and/or families. Assures care of patients and families is reflective of IU Health's values.
