The Department of Health provides support to nurses and midwives to re-enter practice via the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Supervised Practice - Pathway 1 or Re-entry Program - Pathway 2. Salary: $78,179 per annum Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 3-4 (Increment point Grade 3, Year 1) Eligibility: To be eligible to apply, applicants must meet the following criteria: Please carefully read through the information regarding this process, found here , to make sure you meet the eligibility requirements prior to submitting an application. - Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or New Zealand citizen - Tasmanian resident for the 12-month period, immediately prior to the time of application - A previously registered nurse or midwife who has not practised for 5-10 years and unable to meet NMBA registration requirements - Obtained NMBA written approval to complete Re-entry to Practice via Pathway 1 or Pathway 2 - Be accepted into Supervised Practice Pathway 1 with Department of Health ( Pathway 1 only ) - Be successful in being accepted into a NMBA approved Re-entry to practice Program, including evidence of a secured clinical placement for the practice c...
