Description Employment Status: Part-time: FLSA: Non-exempt/Hourly: Work Schedule: 8:30AM – 2:15PM ( mid-August through mid-May ) The programs calendar compliments the Northeast Independent School District calendar. Reports to : Director: Job Summary: The St. Mark Catholic Preschool Substitute Teacher is responsible for carrying out the lessons, activities, and schedule in the absence of the regularly assigned teacher while meeting the policies and procedures of the preschool and Archdiocese of San Antonio. In addition to providing direct care, the Substitute Teacher is must actively assist the assigned classroom teacher and is responsible for appropriate engagement with children while providing a safe, nurturing, socially and spiritually enriching environment for young children, approximately 18 months to 5 years old. During the short-term daytime program, the Substitute Teacher is also responsible for the work relationship with the classroom teacher, colleagues, and being available to the families.
