Description MISSION: The Truck Loader is responsible for facilitating and assisting all operations involving loading materials on trucks for delivery. This responsibility includes order fulfillment, load inspection, material counts, inventory control, and general customer service. Safe and efficient forklift operation is essential to the position. Requirements: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensures that all delivered orders are loaded on time, accurately, and in full with the appropriate protection against the weather. All orders must be handled with care to eliminate damage to the product. All orders must be tagged and banded appropriately. Millwork items should be shrink-wrapped. Failure to do so will impact the employee’s monthly bonus. - Materials should be loaded on trucks in the most efficient manner possible, so they are not damaged under the weight of other materials or by strapping. - Truck weight and safety requirements must be satisfied, and the load distribution should be considered. - First loads should be loaded so that trucks can leave by 7am unless otherwise approved by management. - Assists customers and coworkers by helping locate and load orders for pick up or delivery...
