Overview: - Department: Float Pool - Schedule: Nights, 7:00pm-7:30am, 12-hour shifts - Facility: Resurrection Medical Center - Location: Chicago, IL 60631 Responsibilities: As a RN in our Float Pool, you will experience the multiple units and specialties that Resurrection has to offer. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. - Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. - Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. - Provide a safe environment for patients and visitors. - Communicate with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
