Senior Estimator Thousand Oaks, CA: At Dome Construction, estimating is more than numbers. It is about understanding the work, anticipating challenges, and helping set projects up for success. We are looking for a skilled Senior Estimator to play a key role in shaping complex commercial projects from the earliest stages of preconstruction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into details, partnering closely with project teams and trade partners, and bringing both technical expertise and leadership to the estimating process. You will lead major estimates, contribute strategic insight during preconstruction, and help mentor the next generation of estimators. What you will do: As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for large scale commercial construction projects. You will review drawings and specifications, perform and oversee detailed quantity takeoffs, and analyze material, labor, and subcontractor pricing. Your work will support conceptual, schematic, and final estimates, including design build and GMP projects.
