Responsibility Summary: The Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary to address the personal need and comfort of patients in an environment that promotes dignity and healing. Essential Functions: - Performs vital signs and activities of daily living as outlined on plan of care inclusive of ADL's. Assists on hourly rounding and documents care rendered per guidelines. - Meets nutrition needs of patients as outlined in the plan of care, and in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs meal delivery, sets up trays and adaptive equipment; assists with feeding, and distributes nourishments while honoring choices. - Properly documents per policy, protocol, and procedure. - Maintains patient comfort and safety as outlined in the plan of care and in accordance with policies and procedures.
