Traffic Engineering Consultant – Intelligent Traffic Control Systems (iVRI) Utrecht / Delft, Netherlands: Contract Opportunity | Hybrid Working: A leading public infrastructure organization in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced traffic engineering consultant to support the implementation and optimization of intelligent traffic control systems (iVRI). This role is part of a technically complex and safety-critical infrastructure project focused on improving smart mobility and traffic management across the Dutch road network. The consultant will play a key role in defining traffic control objectives, testing and evaluating traffic control applications, supporting operational implementation, and facilitating knowledge transfer to regional Traffic Management Advisors (AVMs). Key Responsibilities: Define and establish traffic control objectives for new traffic management applications. Configure and optimize intelligent traffic control systems (IVRI). Test and evaluate traffic control applications using VAT, FAT, and SAT methodologies. Assess evacuation times using specialized traffic engineering tools.
