Title: Service Area Coordinator (Building a Pool) Division Name: Student Affairs Department: University Housing Services Campus Location: Normal, IL Job Summary: The Service Area Coordinator (SAC) provides leadership and administration for student workers within an area of campus housing. In conjunction with the Residence Hall Coordinators and Area Coordinators, the SAC assists with supervising and maintaining a comprehensive, inclusive residential living program for students and a developmental program for paraprofessional staff and student leaders. The SAC provides administrative leadership for developing a living-learning community/residential area. The SAC is responsible for the daily administration of the residence hall facilities, operations, and programs, has an opportunity to serve on one University Housing Services Professional Staff Standing Committee, and assists in projects designed to enhance the quality of student life for residence hall students. The SAC will strive to create a residential environment conducive to living and learning.
