Plant Electrician – Red Hills Power Plant – Ackerman, MS Summary of Position Duties: Plant Red Hills consists of 2 coal fired boilers producing steam for 1 steam turbine. This position is responsible for routine and corrective maintenance and also performs technical and analytical services essential to the control system and associated equipment (electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic) within the plant while supporting Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the plant control and electrical systems. These systems include digital control systems, circuits, power circuits, station service equipment, and control devices. Employee will participate in the plant maintenance program and document plant maintenance records in a computer-based work order system, MAXIMO. Job Experience and Education: - 2-Year College/Technical degree, military training or apprenticeship program is preferred. - Minimum of two years experience in electrical and/or electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation and controls required. - Experience with digital control systems, PLCs, ABB Control Systems, CEMS and Siemens Control System preferred. - Experience in a coal...
