Summary The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy & Immunology, is currently seeking an Assistant Professor to join its Immunology Service. Leadership opportunities within the Section and Service are available and will be dependent on expertise and field reputation. Qualifications: - Provide safe, timely, effective, and efficient patient care at TCH West Campus in inpatient and outpatient settings. - Provide clinical leadership to medical and nursing staff. - Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction. - Supervise and educate medical and nursing staff when appropriate in the care of Immunology patients. - Educate and supervise trainees including fellows, residents, medical students, and advanced practice practitioners. - Partner closely with Clinical Leadership (TCH Practice Administrator and Nurse Managers) to create cohesive leadership for the A&I service. - Review and understand patient safety issues and incidences; proactively work with leadership to resolve. - Develop and refine standard operating procedures and protocols for the A&I service. - MD/DO or equivalent - Licensed by the Texas Medical Board - Board certified/eligible in Allergy & Immu...
